Can this be used with kids?Updated a year ago

The Reliefband is recommended for use in children 12+. This is simply due to the fact that a younger child's wrist may not fit the device, but also that they may be more sensitive to the therapy. It is important the child understand how to use the device, that they will be feeling a tingling sensation in their hand/fingers, that they are able to control the intensity, and should avoid turning it up too high. Reliefband is  FDA-cleared, making it completely safe for use. However, the stimulation provided from the device (much like a TENS) can feel strong on a child if turned up too high. The Classic also requires 2 - 3 Volt Lithium Coin Cell batteries that could result in a choking hazard. We always recommend speaking with your child's physician before use.

Once speaking to the child’s physician and they get the approval to wear the device, keep in mind the child’s wrist size before purchasing to ensure it will fit. The Reliefband Classic will fit at 4.5" at its smallest circumference, whereas the Premier is 5.5", and the Sport will fit 4”.
